🍲 Offer Food and Unfrozen Water
Outdoor cats burn extra calories just to stay warm. In cold weather, feeding them regularly is vital.
Provide high-calorie wet food and some dry food for when it freezes.
If possible, check water dishes twice a day to make sure they’re not frozen solid.
Tip:
Place food and water near the shelter, but not inside — moisture can make bedding damp.
🐈 Protect Against Parasites and Illness
Cold weather doesn’t always kill fleas, ticks, and worms. In fact, many outdoor cats still struggle with infestations in winter.
Help them stay healthy with safe flea & tick collars or treatments like those available in our Pest Protection Collection.
A healthy cat has a much better chance of surviving the cold.
